My traditional camp is fantasy, followed closely by science fiction, but I've come to realize that there are few genres I don't enjoy. Some genres I've kicked myself for not getting into sooner. For example, procedurals have been a staple in my television viewing for years, but it wasn't until very recently that I actually read any. Whatever I'm reading, I always feel a bit antsy if I don't have a book on the go.
My writing however, springs directly from my SF/F roots. I started getting serious about my writing in November 2010, and now have one very rough first draft awaiting editing, the beginnings of a second book, and a scattering of short stories written. Much of my work revolves around queer issues, to the point that the first 'straight' relationship in my writing came as a surprise.
