I'm setting my work in New England in the 1970s, so I don't have to deal with cell phones, texting or computer cookies (I prefer chocolate chip). I love to be in my writing lab, where I mix in a pinch of Parker, a hint of Higgins, a pad of Patterson and an ounce of other styles trying to find my own. Soon I'll be saying, "It's A-L-I-V-E. It's A-L-I-V-E."
Stay tuned.
