I've ghost-written two books, had numerous short stories published and worked as a copywriter. I'm currently trying to finish a military novel and write screenplays. Some years back I had a script for "Tales From the Crypt" under consideration, but the show went on hiatus and never came back. I recently took second place in a contest sponsored by Creative Screenwriting Magazine. I'm currently self-employed as a book designer, turning manuscripts into commercial volumes for publishers and self-published authors. My wife and I are raising a three-year-old granddaughter, so I squeeze my writing in whenever I can—late at night, while waiting for the granddaughter at preschool, etc. I mostly write humor and horror. I look forward to attending the Book Expo again one of these years because I made some good connections the years that I either worked the show or attended on my own.
