As I got older I realized my choice of reading material at Barnes & Noble got pickier and pickier. I was in limbo where most Teenage novels left me feeling indifferent and most Adult novels were still out of my intellectual spectrum, and at the same time I was oddly jealous of all these "authors." So I decided "If I can't find a book suitable for me at the store, I'll write it myself. I'll write the best damn books I've ever read."
I'm turning 21 this year and have so far racked up five novels, four short stories, and one script. I don't go around telling people this; this is a hefty secret of mine, actually. I only write a story that I'm slightly terrified to dive into, that's how I know it has weight and is worth while. I love weird love stories, swear words, sensitivity, visual descriptions, and young, introverted men ogling at new discoveries in the first person.
I write best when it's two AM and I can't tell the difference between exhausted pre-dreams and good plot ideas.
