I love reading biographies of Actors, English Queens, or histories of the ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians or even Celts. I also enjoy reading about women in the Middle East in such books as "Lipstick Jihad".
I began reading Fantasy lit as a favor to my husband. The first book he lent me was "Sailing to Sarantium" by Guy Gavriel Kay and I've been in love with this genre ever since.
I've been writing my first Fantasy novel "The Chosen Ones" for the last four years, though the first draft was completed in six months. In the novel questions of faith and the sacrifices inherent to ones destiny are explored within the story of two sisters, separated at birth who have been chosen to defeat the ancient corrupter Aeos.
