Erastes is a female author who lives on the beautiful Norfolk Broads in England. She has written seven novels and over 20 short stories of gay historical fiction.
Her first novel, Standish (Regency), was published in 2006, and her second book, Transgressions (English Civil War) was chosen by Running Press as one of the flagship titles for their gay romance line. Transgressions also was short listed for a Lambda award for 2009.
She runs "Speak Its Name" (www.speakitsname.com) the only place on the planet which concentrates on gay historical fiction news and reviews.
She's currently working on a re-imagining of Hamlet set in 1920's country house England.
Her latest novel, released in March 2011, is MERE MORTALS - a Victorian Gothic romance set on her beloved Norfolk Broads.
She works tirelessly to bring gay romance to a broader audience and hopes that eventually the mainstream will embrace this genre the way thousands of readers already do.
