I have always had a love for Young Adult fantasy that has followed me into my adult life. For my story ideas, the worlds are well-thought out, but my plots need to be nuanced and my characters tend to be too sock-y.
1. Arete - In a world in which the magic race is persecuted, one girl will try to save her people from a senseless war, while attempting to give her best friend back his humanity.
2. ESP - In the not-so-far future, ESP is real and a group of kids will learn that their powers may be less of a gift and more their destruction.
3. Lords and Ladies - A peasant girl accidentally reads the Old Language, which only one with an Ability can do, and is shipped off the royal court to lean how to control it, only to encounter there the devastatingly handsome and arrogant Crown Prince
5. Time Travel Trouble - A counter-intelligence organization works to keep the time-line intact against a mercenary group who would change events to suit their own needs.
