I, RJ, Queen of Molten Cheddar Cheese Volcanoes, writes traditional and epic / high fantasy, with the occasional adventure in the realms of the science fiction.While I read far more genres that I write, it is often a reflection of the things I enjoy reading -- that shouldn't come as a big surprise! A fond addition of buying books has earned me a short ban from purchasing new titles until a little self-restraint can be learned. This is a lofty goal, and will likely never be met, for books are the equivalent of candy. Fortunately, the Kindle has come to the rescue! No self-restraint has been learned, but I have more books to read. I have published one short story, a hybrid science fiction / fantasy story reminiscent of a fairy tale. I work as a freelance developmental editor (for science fiction / fantasy works) when I'm not writing. Picking only five favorite authors and books should be classified as cruel and unusual punishment.
