I live and write in Washington State. I was a founding member of the DC Trans Coalition, which helped install protections for transgender people. I have a B.A. in English from Syracuse University and also went through a master's program in English literature there. A member of the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association, I write about acclimating to the Northwest as a born and bred Easterner at Transplantportation.com, and about popular culture at I Fry Mine in Butter.com. I also have been a guest blogger for Bitch Magazine, writing about the collision between pop culture and politics. I have pieces in SPLIT Quarterly and Twisted Dreams. I read voraciously, and want to write stories I don't see anywhere else for people who would gain something by reading them.
