I read tons of fiction, preferring to read books in my genre, which is paranormal romance. I average five new books a week (I read ebooks while waiting for my son at school and have print books stacked EVERYWHERE). Writing? Wow, that's a loaded subject. I wrote my first story when I was 10 and of course, my poor grandmother showed it to everyone, convinced that I was a rising literary giant. Junior high, I wrote a story that won a class contest and my story was scripted and filmed. In other words, I caught the bug. Twenty years later, I got serious. This isn't a quest for fame and I don't have aspirations of being the next Nora Roberts or Sherrilyn Kenyon (although if it would happen, I certainly wouldn't mind), I just love telling stories about these characters I adore (shh, don't tell anyone, I even adore my villains). One of my proudest moments was when I heard my 10 yo son tell someone "my mom writes novel books." Now I'm working on getting the "novel books" printed.
