I've been reading romance since I was a preteen, a very common occurrence in all romance readers. :) I fell in love with western romance the first time I read a Leigh Greenwood book, and cemented it with Elizabeth Lowell's Only His. Ah, the pleasure of finding something that made my heart sing.
I started writing when I was in third grade, and writing romances in my late twenties. I didn't take it seriously until I was in my late thirties. Now that I've gotten 6 years of publishing under my belt, I can see how I've grown since I put those first awkward words to paper.
As a reader, I read all kinds of books, from romance to fiction to non-fiction and true crime. My favorites remain historical romance of all sub-genres, but cowboys will always hold a special place in my heart.
